Privacy policy.
What we collect when you join the Seeded waitlist, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who runs Seeded
Seeded is run by Minakshi Goyal, Delhi NCR, India. For anything about your details, write to support@seeded.in.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we keep:
- your name
- your email address or mobile number, whichever you give us
- your organisation or school, if you add one
- the sport or esport you organise
- that you confirmed you’re 18 or older, or have a parent’s, guardian’s or teacher’s permission to join
- the date and time you joined, and that you joined from this website
That is all. This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
Only to contact you about Seeded, for example to tell you when it opens. We don’t use your details for anything else, and we don’t add you to anyone else’s mailing list.
By joining, you agree to us using your details for this. You can withdraw that agreement at any time by emailing support@seeded.in, and we’ll delete your details.
If you’re under 18
Please join with a parent’s, guardian’s or teacher’s permission, or ask them to join for you.
Where it’s stored
Your details are stored with Google Firebase, in a Cloud Firestore database in Google’s Mumbai region, in India. Visitors to the site can’t read them; only the Seeded team can.
How long we keep it
Until Seeded launches, and for 12 months after that. Then we delete it. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.
Who we share it with
No one. We never sell your details or share them. Google stores them for us as our service provider, and that is the only reason it holds them.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your details
You can ask us at any time to show you the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them. Email support@seeded.in and tell us the email address or mobile number you joined with. We usually reply within 7 days.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
When you visit this site
Like any website, our host, Google Firebase Hosting, handles basic technical information such as your IP address so that it can deliver the page and keep it secure. We don’t use it to identify or follow you.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
